At a time two books can be issued for home use from all sections of the library. Duration is twenty-one days and two subsequent renewals of books are allowed

Reading rooms with comfortable seating arrangement are available at both second and third floor library. Library lounge can also be used for reading purpose

Most leading newspapers are subscribed in the New Town library. They are kept on front desk at third floor library lounge

Many career related books are available in both teen and general section of the library. Plans are on to hold Career counselling sessions by career guidance experts
